This is a sports article relating to cycling in Rwanda. Rwanda's own cyclist Nathan Byukusenge is one of the few cyclist in Rwanda that have been chosen to ride on the Tour De France. This story is one of the few successful sports stories in Rwanda since they have such little pro sports there.
I believe this article proves that anywhere at anytime someone has the power to accomplish something. No matter their current cultural lifestyle. This cultural lifestyle doesn't often get these kinds of chances. Rwanda is a poor country in Africa that doesn't often come into contact with pro sport players.
This article ties into culture because it is relating to sports. Something that has been around in a cultural life style for a very long time. In this country it is not nearly as favorable knowing they are a poor country. But it does prove that where it is not likely, it can still happen.
